Crescent Printing – Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Crescent Printing ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") through our website (www.crescentprinting.us) or using email addresses associated with crescentprinting.us or printaway.us, you ("Customer" or "Client") agree to the following terms and conditions:

IMPORTANT NOTICE: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THESE TERMS CONTAIN SIGNIFICANT LIMITATIONS ON RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND REPRINTS. BY PLACING AN ORDER, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO THESE TERMS IN THEIR ENTIRETY.

1. Payment Terms

Payment in full is required before any design, proofing, or production services commence, unless written pre-approval for net terms (Net 15 or Net 30) has been granted and the account has been established accordingly. Payment constitutes final acceptance of all terms and conditions, including our no-return policy.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

  • ACH Transfer (No Fee)
  • Check (No Fee; order processing will not begin until the check has cleared)
  • Wire Transfer (additional $25 fee)
  • Credit Card (Merchant processing fee applies; payment via secure portal or phone)

Note: Processing of payment indicates Customer's acceptance of the final order specifications and agreement to our no-return policy.

3. Quotes & Estimates

All quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the issuance date and are contingent on approval of client-supplied files. Final pricing may change after reviewing client files. Acceptance of a quote constitutes acknowledgment that the Customer has reviewed all specifications and accepts the inherent variations in the printing process.

4. Color Matching & Print Variations

4.1 Color Limitations

Exact color matching is not guaranteed unless the Customer provides a Pantone® number in writing. Even with CMYK processes, a 100% Pantone® color match cannot be assured. Guaranteed matches can only be achieved through offset printing, which may incur additional charges. Crescent Printing is not liable for color discrepancies where no Pantone® match was requested or where CMYK print limitations exist.

4.2 No Return Policy on Non-Pantone® Orders

There is a strict no return policy on orders where the Customer does not provide a Pantone® number for color matching. Without a Pantone® match request, the Customer accepts all color variations inherent to the printing process.

4.3 Industry Standard Variations

The Customer acknowledges and accepts that the following are considered normal and acceptable in the printing industry and are NOT grounds for returns, refunds, or reprints:

  • Color variations of up to 10% from digital proofs
  • Minor registration variations (up to 1/8 inch)
  • Cutting variations (up to 1/8 inch)
  • Folding variations (up to 1/16 inch)
  • Minor scuffing or marking inherent to the production process
  • Variations between different production runs
  • Variations due to different viewing conditions or lighting

5. Installation & Site Visits

Estimates for projects involving on-site installation (e.g., fabric structures, wall/window vinyl, signage) may be adjusted if project conditions or durations change without a prior site visit. Site visit fees are non-refundable and based on travel distance and time, payable in advance. Once installation begins, the Customer is deemed to have accepted the product, and no returns or refunds will be considered for any reason.

6. Shipping & Risk of Loss

Crescent Printing will select the most appropriate shipping and delivery method. Our responsibility for the goods ends once delivered to any carrier, including but not limited to UPS®, FedEx®, USPS®, Uber Courier, or any local courier company of Crescent Printing's choosing. Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer at that point. Customers must file loss/damage claims directly with the carrier; reprints will only be produced at the Customer's expense. Products damaged during shipping are not eligible for returns or refunds from Crescent Printing.

7. Paper, Materials, Suppliers & Outsourcing

7.1 Suppliers

Crescent Printing may, at its sole discretion, use any supplier to secure paper, materials, or supplies needed to fulfill the Customer's order.

7.2 Outsourcing

Crescent Printing reserves the right to outsource part or all of any order, at its sole discretion, and is under no obligation to notify the Customer regarding such actions.

7.3 Non-Disclosure of Vendors

Crescent Printing is under no obligation to disclose to the Customer which supplier or third-party provider has been used, or to whom any portion of the order has been outsourced.

7.4 Upgrades to Stock, Substrates, and Materials

If the specified paper stock, rigid substrate, window perf, adhesive vinyl, or any material needed to complete an order is unavailable at the time of order, or at Crescent Printing's discretion, Crescent Printing may upgrade the paper stock, rigid substrate, window perf, adhesive vinyl, or any material used for the order. Under no circumstances will Crescent Printing downgrade the specified quality of materials. Material upgrades are never grounds for returns or refunds.

8. Date of Completion

Quoted completion or delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Crescent Printing will make commercially reasonable efforts to meet estimated dates but is not liable for delays. If the Customer's financial position is found to be impaired, Crescent Printing reserves the right to require advance payment or additional security or to cancel the order without liability. Delays in production or delivery are never grounds for returns or refunds.

9. Refunds & Reprints – STRICTLY LIMITED

9.1 General Policy

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Crescent Printing maintains a strict no-refund, no-reprint policy except under the extremely limited circumstances outlined below.

9.2 Limited Exceptions

The ONLY circumstances under which a refund or reprint MAY be considered are:

  • If the delivered order does not conform to the specifications for materials as explicitly stated on the paid invoice AND does not meet or exceed the originally specified quality due to Crescent Printing's error, AND the Customer provides written notice with photographic evidence within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt. Failure to provide such notice within 24 hours constitutes acceptance of the order and waives any and all claims to refunds or reprints.

9.3 Exclusions from Refunds/Reprints

Under NO circumstances will refunds or reprints be provided for:

  • Orders that are upgraded in material (as provided for in Section 7)
  • Color variations of any kind (unless a Pantone® match was specified and paid for)
  • Imperfections in finishing that fall within industry standards
  • Issues arising from Customer-supplied files, including but not limited to:
    • Low resolution images
    • Incorrect color profiles
    • Improper bleeds or margins
    • Font issues
    • Any file preparation errors
  • Any installations once they have been started
  • Products that have been used, applied, or altered in any way
  • Claims made after the 24-hour notification period
  • Subjective dissatisfaction with the final product
  • Changes in Customer requirements after production has begun
  • Products ordered based on digital proofs or samples
  • Delivery delays caused by shipping carriers or couriers

9.4 Resolution at Company Discretion

Valid claims (which are extremely rare and must meet ALL requirements above) will be resolved at Crescent Printing's sole discretion by:
(a) replacement of defective portions only, (b) partial refund of the nonconforming portion only, or (c) a mutually agreed discount on future orders. Full refunds are never provided.

10. Customer Responsibilities & Acknowledgments

10.1 File Review

The Customer is solely responsible for reviewing and approving all files, proofs, and specifications before production. Approval of proofs waives all rights to returns or refunds.

10.2 Industry Knowledge

By placing an order, the Customer acknowledges understanding that:

  • Printed colors vary from on-screen colors
  • Digital printing has inherent limitations
  • Each printing method has unique characteristics
  • Materials may have natural variations
  • Environmental factors affect print appearance

10.3 Inspection Obligation

The Customer must inspect all products immediately upon receipt. Failure to report issues within 24 hours constitutes acceptance.

11. Limitation of Liability

Crescent Printing's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific items that are the subject of the claim. Crescent Printing is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or any damages exceeding the order value. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory asserted.

12. Dispute Resolution & Legal Fees

12.1 Mandatory Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these terms or any order shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Virginia, with each party bearing their own costs.

12.2 Legal Fees

In any dispute where Crescent Printing prevails, the Customer agrees to pay all of Crescent Printing's reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.

13. Amendments

Crescent Printing reserves the right to revise these terms at any time. The effective version at order placement applies. No verbal modifications to these terms are valid.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Virginia. The parties consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No verbal agreements, promises, or understandings modify these terms. Customer acknowledges that they have not relied on any representations other than those explicitly stated herein.


BY PLACING AN ORDER, YOU EXPLICITLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, INCLUDING THE STRICT LIMITATIONS ON RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND REPRINTS.
